Welcome From Pastor Chris
Welcome to the Co-Mission Church website. I am thrilled that you are here and would like to take a moment to make you aware of a few things. First of all, I am praying for you that the Lord would direct you to just the right church home and family for you. Certainly our church is not for everyone, but it just may be the place that the Lord is directing you to hook up with, believe God for, and become firmly planted in. If that is the case for you, I am convinced that you will grow spiritually here as you will nowhere else. You see, God joins people together and forms teams. As a team, Co-Mission Church will make a great impact in our world around us, and furthermore, all over the world. The exciting thing is that you get to be a part of that. In fact, I welcome your unique gifts and abilities that the Lord has given to you. It is with the combined gifts and graces of each one of us that our world is being and will be changed. We love you and are believing for a strong foundation to be built in the life of both you and your family.
Serving together with you,
Pastor Chris Cochran

What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:23–25; 2 Peter 1:21).
One God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (John 1:1, 14, 18; 10:30; 12:44–45; 15:26; 16:7–16, 27–28; Matthew 3:16–17; 28:19; 1 John 5:5–7).
Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His death on a cross, in His burial, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Matthew 1:18–23; Luke 1:30–35; 2:21).
Cleansed From Sin
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ through the shedding of His precious blood (Romans 10:9–10; Hebrews 9:22; 10:4).
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation of lost and sinful man (Romans 3:23–26; 5:12–21; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5–7; 1 John 3:8).
Redemption
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (Psalms 103:2–3; Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; Mark 16:17–18; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14–15).
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism as set forth in the Scripture (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:35–39; 10:47–48; Romans 6:4).
Marriage
We believe that the term ‘marriage’ has only one meaning and that marriage is sanctioned by God in the joining of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union to one another, as clearly defined in Scripture (Genesis 2:22–24; Matthew 19:4–6). Furthermore, we believe that God’s intention as Creator is that sexual intimacy only occurs between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:16, 18; Ephesians 5:22–33). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activities are to be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman (1 Thessalonians 4:3–7; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that any and all forms of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography or any disagreement with or attempt to change one’s biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God (Leviticus 18:22–23; Romans 1:26–28; 1 Corinthians 6:9–10; 1 Timothy 1:9–10).
Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and that the baptism in the Holy Spirit releases the fullness of the Spirit as is evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to each Spirit filled believer as the Spirit wills (Mark 16:17; Luke 11:9–13; 24:49; Acts 1:8; 2:1–4; 8:12, 14–17; 9:17; 10:44–47; 19:1–6; 1 Corinthians 12:1–31; 14:1–4, 14–15, 18, 39–40).
Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (John 5:25–29; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:10–15; 21:1–8).
